Design, development and implementation of all core gameplay systems, including:
Responsive and performant automated turret AI and targeting with 3 variations
Scalable player weapon system enabling distinct weapons and animation state handling with 4 variations
Enemy AI and navigation allowing for multiple enemy types with their own feel and threats
Resource-based game condition requiring player to hold off waves of enemies while using a time-controlled resource to power additional turrets and expand play area to reach game goal

Menus for main, pause, win/loss
Options menu allowing control of display and audio
In-game HUD/UI event triggering and updates
Game condition and resource management systems enabling incrementally increasing play area
Interaction and activation of in-game objects with supporting UI and input

Creation of visual inventory system allowing item rearranging and use from an interface
Expanded inventory system to allow items to be directly used by dragging them onto in-scene elements
Creation of supporting systems to enable lockpicking puzzle with visual interface and gameplay
Additions to improve dynamic navigation between room scenes, as well as UI and gameplay interaction
Assistance/direction to team members on programming and implementation questions/issues

Created navigation and logic for implementation of navigable rooms using static views

Created event handling for visual/audio effects
A solo development project featuring horde-mode style gameplay with tower defense and FPS elements. The player must battle through infected enemies in a train station with the help of a suspicious AI claiming to have a cure for the infection.
A series of mini-games designed in partnership with Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) to support students with neurological disabilities in the completion of physical therapy. Making use of a modified custom "ladder" controller placed directly in front of a portrait oriented screen, students can play along with mini-games encouraging their physical therapy.
A point-and-click adventure played in 2D and built with Ren'py but using visuals of an environment created in 3D in Unreal Engine. The player is offered the chance to join the kingdom's royal guard, but must complete a series of challenges and puzzles to make it safely to the end.
About Me
I'm a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in game design, with a bachelor's in game software development.
